Baked Oatmeal

I'm on a quest to find the perfect granola bar recipe.  My search for the perfect granola is over, thanks to my sister.  Making a great granola bar hasn't been quite so easy, though.  So after modifying a recipe for "baked oatmeal squares" I found online, hoping I'd end up with a granola bar, I ended up making what is basically my version of Amish "baked oatmeal."  It's not a granola bar, but it's good!  You won't be able to cut these into squares and thrown them in a ziploc for an on-the-road snack, but for breakfast, baked oatmeal will be a fabulous diversion from cereal and milk!

Baked Oatmeal

3 cups oatmeal
1/2 c. toasted wheat germ
2 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1 t. ground cinnamon
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. honey
1 cup milk
1/2 c. oil

Stir together first 5 ingredients, then add egg, honey, milk, and oil.  Pour into greased 13 X 9 in. pan, and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.  Let cool before cutting.
